Deleting an Existing Resource

You can remove a Resource from a BizMetry Profile when it is no longer needed or has been superseded by an updated configuration.

Irreversible Action

Deleting a resource is permanent. Any telemetry data already captured for this resource will remain in the platform, but no new telemetry will be collected for it once deleted.


🧭 How to Delete a Resource

  1. Navigate to the Resource Summary View.
  2. Locate the resource you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Delete icon (🗑️) on the resource's row.

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.

  1. Click "Confirm" to permanently delete the resource.

⚠️ Before Deleting

Consider the following before removing a resource:

  • Active Environment Mappings — if the resource has environment mappings linked to database tables, those mappings will also be removed.
  • Telemetry Frames — if active agents are capturing telemetry frames referencing this resource, those captures will fail after deletion.
  • Alternative: If you want to stop capturing data without permanently deleting the resource, consider deactivating it instead.
