Choose the transport mechanism this Business Event will listen on.

Step 1 - Source Type

Available source types

  • REST API — intercept calls made through a configured API Collection.
  • Kafka Topic — trigger on messages published to a topic.
  • MQTT Queue — trigger on messages published to a queue.
  • Webhook — trigger on inbound webhook calls.

The source type you pick here determines what you'll be asked to configure in Step 3 — Select Operations (e.g. REST shows API Collections and operations to choose from).

Click Next to continue to Step 2 — Select Target Frame.
