BizMetry NotificationsΒΆ
The Notifications panel allows you to view, configure, and manage alerts and notifications generated by the BizMetry platform in response to SLA breaches, agent health events, and telemetry thresholds.
BizMetry can dispatch notifications via multiple channels including in-platform alerts, email, and external webhook integrations.
π§ Accessing NotificationsΒΆ
- Click on the Main Menu icon (β°) from the top navigation bar.
- Select "Notifications" from the menu.

π Notification TypesΒΆ
BizMetry generates notifications for the following event categories:
| Notification Type | Trigger |
|---|---|
| SLA Breach | An agent exceeds a configured SLA threshold (CPU, memory, network latency). |
| Agent Down | An agent stops sending heartbeats and is considered unreachable. |
| Agent Restarted | An agent successfully completed an automatic or manual restart. |
| Template Published | A new Template version has been published and is pending propagation to agents. |
| Profile Export Ready | A requested Profile export has been packaged and is available for download. |
| Datasource Unreachable | A registered datasource is no longer accessible. |
| Telemetry Anomaly | A configured telemetry threshold has been exceeded (requires Telemetry Rules setup). |
π Notification InboxΒΆ
The Notifications panel shows a list of recent notifications with:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | The category of the notification. |
| Severity | INFO, WARNING, or CRITICAL. |
| Profile / Agent | The resource that triggered the event. |
| Timestamp | When the event occurred. |
| Status | Unread, Read, or Acknowledged. |
| Detail | Link to the triggering resource or event. |

BizMetry supports the following notification delivery channels:
Email NotificationsΒΆ
Configure email recipients for specific notification types. Navigate to Profile β Agents β SLA Configuration to set up SLA-breach email alerts.
In-Platform Bell IconΒΆ
All notifications appear in the top navigation bar under the notification bell. Unread notifications are shown with a count badge.
Webhook Integration (Advanced)ΒΆ
For enterprise deployments, BizMetry can be configured to send notifications to external systems via HTTP webhooks β enabling integration with Slack, PagerDuty, Teams, or custom alerting pipelines.

β Managing NotificationsΒΆ
- Mark as Read β click on a notification to open it; it will be marked as read automatically.
- Acknowledge β for critical alerts, use the "Acknowledge" button to confirm you've reviewed and addressed the issue.
- Clear All β bulk-dismiss all read notifications from the inbox.
