Logging Out¶
Logging out ensures that your BizMetry session is securely closed, protecting your credentials and account data.
🔐 How to Log Out¶
You can log out of BizMetry in two different ways, depending on your preferred workflow.
🔹 Option 1 — From the User Avatar (Left-Side)¶
- Click on the user avatar located on the left side of the top navigation bar.
- In the dropdown menu that appears, select Logout.
- BizMetry will securely terminate your session and redirect you to the login screen.
💡 The avatar also provides access to user preferences and account settings.
🔹 Option 2 — Using the “LOGOUT” Button on the Top Navigation Bar¶
Alternatively, you can log out instantly by clicking the “LOGOUT” button located in the top button panel of the Home Screen.
This provides a faster way to close your session without using the avatar dropdown.

💡 Use this quick logout method when switching between accounts or testing multiple environments.
🧠 Session Expiration Policy¶
For security compliance, BizMetry sessions automatically expire after a period of inactivity.
When a timeout occurs, you’ll be redirected to the login page and prompted to authenticate again.
If you’re logged in across multiple devices or browsers: - Each session must be closed manually.
- BizMetry automatically invalidates tokens across sessions within 15 minutes after logout.
⚙️ Security Recommendations¶
- Always log out from shared or public workstations.
- Avoid leaving persistent sessions active unnecessarily.
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) when available.
